Menicon America Inc is wholly owned by Menicon Co., Ltd. (www.menicon.com), Japan’s first and largest contact lens manufacturer. Celebrating our 60th year, Menicon branded products are now sold globally.  In North America, Menicon America markets gas permeable lens materials and lens care solutions sold through its network of custom contact lens laboratories and distribution partners.  We are also proud to be the exclusive distributor for Optimed Ltd’s state-of-the-art 3D ophthalmic animation and web-based communication software.

Optimed Ltd. specializes in the development of 3D medical animations producing animations for all eye-care professionals. 

Key to Optimed's product development has been the creation of content delivery platforms that have enabled the technology to function in real time. These platforms include a chair side and marketing suite (CAPTIV8), a commerical grade digital signage system (i-Vue) and a web player that displays our 3D animations on any eye care professional's website (ANIM8).
