Is an Internet connection required?

Yes.  i-Vue requires a functioning internet connection (WiFi or cabled).  This is because i-Vue automatically downloads changes you make to a playlist from the internet - this is why you can control the i-Vue display from any location.

Internet connectivitiy is also required to download new content updates.
